1st Birthday

This little girl had her 1st birthday. She started out the day by receiving her very first baby doll compliments of her big brother Trevor which he bought with his own money. She loved it and carried it around the house.

 

My boys had seen pictures and video of their first birthday when we smashed the cake in their face. We told them that they could smash Aubrey's face in her cake so they could not wait for her birthday. They did a really good job and after Aubrey got over the initial shock she enjoyed her cake.

Not all play

I document a lot of family fun, vacations, and outings on my blog. I just wanted to document that the Aragons are not all play. We do a lot of work too. We work hard so we can play hard!!!! When my children and I look back on our blog years from now I truly do hope they remember the fun things we did the most, but here is just a few pictures to remind us of all the work we did too.

Our own Olympics

In honor of the 2012 Olympics in London that we have been watching every night we decided that for Family Home Evening we would have our own family Olympics. We awarded gold medals to the winner of each silly game. (I won a gold medal for hopping on one foot the longest.) We laughed so hard at ourselves. Here are some pictures of the boys competing in their events and of the medal ceremony.

Even Aubrey won a gold medal for being the best little sister ever.

Aragon Campout

For the annual Aragon camp out this year we went to the Yucaipa Regional Park. Here is a list of all the fun things we did and a ton of pictures to go with it.

• Sleep in a tent
• Sing campfire songs
• Play with cousins
• Get DIRTY!!
• Goof off at the playground
• Swim in the lake
• Play in the sand
• Go on the water slides
• Visit Oak Glen
• Experience an awesome petting zoo
• Eat YUMMY food all week
• Play on the slip-n-slide
• Go fishing
• And the best part - Just being together!!!

Golfing

Eric loves golfing so when he found a kid sized golf set on craigslist for $20 he had to get it for the boys. He took them out for their first golf experience to a little 3par (whatever that means) course in riverside. The boys had a blast, especially driving the cart and now Eric can combine two things he loves - the boys and golfing.
