Pirate Day

To keep busy this summer we are having some days with a theme. One day last week our theme was Pirates. We pretended to be Pirates, watched a movie with them, colored Pirate pictures, had a treasure hunt to find buried Pirate treasure, and played in Grandma's totally awesome Pirate pool. Here are some pictures of the boys on their treasure hunt and playing in the Pirate boat.

Hooked on Hiking

We have been on several hikes lately enjoying the weather before it gets to hot and I believe its safe to say we are hooked on hiking. We love the beautiful scenery, fresh air, and quality family time.

We got to go camping at the beach last weekend.

 

The best part about beach camping is that you get to spend all day at the beach.

Graduation Weekend

When we went to Eric's Graduation we stayed the weekend in San Diego. The fun started off with dinner Downtown in Little Italy. The food was amazing...here is our group.

The next day after graduation we had lunch in Old Town San Diego where the boys got into the spirit.

We were able to visit the Mormon Battalion Historical sight located in Old Town. The boys had fun playing in the covered wagon, pretending to be members of the Battalion, pumping water, and panning for gold.

We were glad Eric graduated so we could have a weekend full of fun.
